UChicago receives $35 million gift for arts center

The U of C just announced the receipt of a 35 million dollar donation for an arts center to be built at 60th and Ingleside. This should be a great addition, as the arts are an important part of the University, but have been a little too under the radar. The Smart Museum is a nice campus art museum, but adding more facilities for the study and practice of art will be a boon.
